Welcome to Inner Light Therapy, LLC. Reaching out for support takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a space for clarity healing and growth.

At Inner Light Therapy, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where you can slow down, be heard and fully understood. I believe that each person carries an inner light- even in difficult moments- and therapy is a space to reconnect with that light, makes sense of your experiences , and move forward with greater clarity, balance and confidence.

About Me

Johanna Howe, LCPC is a Baltimore native therapist and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She began her career working with children, teens and young adults at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She continued her journey as an Associate Director at a local Baltimore Community Mental Health Clinic supporting both clients and therapists. Johanna is trained in several evidenced based therapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. She has extensive experience working with trauma survivors and women’s mental health. In her free time, Johanna enjoys live music, camping, spending time with friends and family and volunteering with her therapy dog, Sunny, providing pet visits.
